Our brain is the control center of our being – it’s quite literally the most important and complex organ in our body! Even while we sleep our brain is always working to make sure that our other organs are functioning and that our body continues to run like a well-oiled machine. It’s incredibly important to make brain health a part of our overall wellness routine, and one way to do this is to exercise the brain the way you would a specific muscle group in your body!
As we age, we may begin to experience mild memory problems that can be very frustrating. Alzheimer’s, dementia, a scary brain injury and more are just a few issues we tend to worry about, as we grow older. In the same way that a long walk or quick run helps to strengthen your cardiovascular and muscular health, it’s important to do the same for our brains.
